A Forgotten Memory

I had a dream last night.

It was so vivid and bright.
I was with you, feeling so alive.

We were in a house at the corner of the street.

Surrounded by trees and a lake nearby,
Full of sunshine and good vibes.
The house was neither too big nor too small.
It was just a happy house in all.

A big pine tree in the middle at the front,

Backyard had lovely roses in the bunch.
There was also a rusty old tool shed,
Which you thought was a waste.
But overall, it was the house of your taste.

Everything was so lovely and cozy in there,
Not much furniture, a comfy couch for cuddles and a rocking chair.
There were no family pictures either, but beautiful paintings everywhere.
Adding colors to plain white walls, giving a blissful feeling to all.
Simple interior, Golden chandelier, that house was so familiar.

There was something special too, for a starry night or a lazy afternoon.

A hammock! Hanging from wall to wall in an empty room.
Smoothly swinging, soaking sunshine or stealing glimpses of the moon,
My sweet place in the whole house, Being with you there felt like home.
Loving, peaceful and content, Being with you I felt Shalom!

I wonder! Was it a dream or a forgotten memory?

Memories are a thing of past, you cherish not pursue
Let it be a dream! So one day it will come true!
